Last night was rough…was woken up by a sweet, baby boy too many times! So, morning is here, and both babes are still sound asleep in their beds. What do I do? Bring my breakfast to bed! I’m just going to sit and enjoy my hot cup of coffee and warm oatmeal in peace and quiet! I had some overnight oats in the refrigerator, so I just put some in a mug, heated them up and topped it with some banana slices and some of my homemade granola. It was heavenly! I think I like eating my breakfast out of a coffee mug! It just seems so cozy…
Easy Overnight Oats
Ingredients
1/3 cup raw oats
1/3 cup milk
1/3 cup yogurt
Directions
The recipe is so easy…it’s just usually equal parts of oats, milk, and any kind of yogurt you choose. I just did plain greek yogurt, but it would be fabulous with a flavored yogurt! You mix everything in a bowl and put it in the fridge the night before. In the morning, I just heat mine a little in the microwave and top it with some fruit and something crunchy! I have even seen some put a crumbled muffin on top…YUM!
